Excellent writing and editing skills required. Strong verbal as well as written communications skills
· Professional-level writing for corporate internal audiences including research, story angle development and article creation.
Strong editorial sensibility in terms of content and design required and strong project management skills.
· Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, think on your feet, and juggle many projects at once Ability to perform and excel within a work hard/play hard client environment
· Demonstrated high attention to detail, personal organization, and interpersonal skills
· Strongly adept with full Microsoft Office suite
· Experience with engineering, medical and Academics educational content
Must have experience with podcasting, multimedia design and social media channels including Face book, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs. Must be proficient in MS Office, Flash, Adobe,
· Demonstrated experience in writing in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences
· Expertise in AP style and grammar
· Excellent research, reporting, interviewing, and project-management skills
· Attention to detail and precision in communication
· Ability to think both creatively and strategically
· Strong verbal communication/presentation skills
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Keeps up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design and business/industry trends
- Copyedits and proof reads articles and other web content
- Writes fresh content
- Finds and develops new ideas for web content.
- Researches and sources material for content
- Assures web content is user-friendly and key-worded for SEO benefit
- Uploads content to various websites
- Manages content for multiple websites
- Edits print documents for publication online
- Moderates user-generated content such as message Facebook/pages/posts/twitter replies
- Helps plan and implement social marketing campaigns for specific marketing goals
- Develops and documents procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Ability to write engaging content
- Basic knowledge of HTML and XML
- Basic knowledge of SEO
- Ability to manage content for various websites
- Multi-tasking and problem solving abilities
